I’m 26 male. on january i was video taping and in order to lower a bit, i bend my knees a bit and stayed in that position for like 10 seconds.. when i came back up i knew something had torn or something. very very unfair, cause it was such a simple thing i did. Plus that leg is my strongest, the other leg is slightly smaller and weaker but the injured one has strong muscles. So i’m thinking it was the imbablance of leg length and imbablance in muscle strength that somehow caused this. Ok, Now i’ts June, had this on January and although it’s better i have bone pain sometimes alot that i cant’ even walk. I know it’s probably mor elike bone related( that is why im calling it arthritis), i’m not sure what it is though. I’ve heard of osteoarthritis happening to athletes even when young..so is it this? and man, i have to live the rest of my life without being able to walk well? I went to doc, but he was an ignorant doc that just wanted money. anyways, what can i do for this?

I am only 19 and for the past few weeks, my knees have been hurting severely. They hurt all the time no matter what i am doing. It’s hard to stand up, sit down, even reach down and grab something, Anybody know a way i can find out whats wrong without a doctor?
btw, i don’t have money to go to the doctor.

Is there any hope in finding a cure for diseases? Why would the drug companies want to cure an illness when there is no money in it? If we find cures for illnesses then the big phamaceutical companies that create drugs to ease our pain and help deal with the disease would go bankrupt. Finding cures for disease would greatly hurt our economy by eliminating the need for the multi billion dollar drug industry. Are people even working on finding cures? If there is no money in finding a cure and only money in creating drugs to help with the pain, etc. then do companies even fund the research to find a cure? What if a cure has been found but they won’t tell us b/c it would ruin our economy? I ask these questions b/c I am so frustrated! My loved one may have Juvenile Rhematoid Arthritis and I feel so helpless. Are they ever going to find a cure? Is anyone even working on curing this or just alleviating the pain with drugs? I think we are all reing lied to.

what herbal medicine would help to ease the pain?

i have juvenile rhemathoid arthritis. i have had it since 8 yrs old. lately my hand has been really swollen and i write with my left hand which is the bad one i haven’t gone to school for almost a month what can i do to be able to write in school. what can my teachers do to help me and not fail the school year

She is thinking of switching from methatrexate to Embrel which is about 0 more a month. Is the difference in the money for Embrel worth the added expense?

I am a long time myspace user and last year I was helping raise money for the arthritis foundation. I thought it would be so cool to try to get some celebrities involved. A lot of celebrities have a voice that people listen to so a lot of them get involved in all kinds of charities. I decided to go on myspace to see who I could find. To my surprise every time I keyed in a name of a celebrity, 6 to 10 pages would pop up. Then came the hard part trying to figure out of these 10 pages which profile was real and which one wasn't. I think myspace should do something about this. A lot of people are getting fooled thinking they are talking with or to their favorite celebrity when really it could be the person next store for all they know. I feel honestly that myspace is contributing to identity theft.
