which is better for arthritis and nerve damage, cold lasser therapy or physcial therapist?

2 years ago I had knee replacement surgery on both of my knees.
I am in alot of pain and my doctors call it nerve damage and arthritis.
Pills do not work. I would like to try something else and someone recomended cold lasser or a physcial therapist that comes to the house. "Both cost per session

Are there total knee replacement options, other than traditional artificial joint replacement surgery?

I’m seeking alternatives to traditional knee replacement surgery. I would like to hear from arthritis and orthopedic patients who have experienced or investigated "biologic" (natural) joint replacements, versus "bionic" (artificial) joint replacements. I also would like to hear from people who know of any other total knee replacement alternatives currently available. Thank you.

Is it wise to walk for 30 minutes a day/5 days a week, 6 months after total knee replacement surgery?

My Mother is 65. She had total knee replacement surgery on one leg 6 months ago. Flew through quality rehab, impressing everyone with how well she recovered. Bone density test doesn’t indicate osteoporosis. She is 135 lbs. 5′2" tall. Regular, thorough checkups reveal no health issues, save a bit of mild arthritis in the other knee and in her hands. She has no problems (yet) with the replacement knee.

What are some low impact exercises for those with arthritis?

My mom was advised by her doctor to have knee replacement surgery due to her arthritis. However, since she’s diabetic, he also advised that she lose 30-50 pounds prior to surgery. Her diet is fine, but she really needs to incorporate more exercise to help get the weight off. Besides water aerobics, what are some low impact exercises she can do that would put pressure and strain on her knees? Thanks.

Can someone with severe osteo arthritis in one knee, ride a bicycle?

I want to get a bike but one knee is so bad that I’ve been advised to have knee replacement surgery. Would riding a bike help maintain my muscle tone? I thought it might not be as painful as walking and standing have come to be. I sure don’t want that surgery. Thanks!!
