can any one explain this type of arthritis to me? i have been diagnosed with arthritis for many years now and it is only getting worse. every joint in my body hurts-hands,fingers,wrist,toes, ankles, knees, hip (both sides and center), chest joint and ribs, elbow-just one, back-lower and upper, and jaw. it started mildly at 20yrs old and this past year and a half (i’m 34 now) it has progressed to the point of intolerable. i am loosing cordination in my fingers and feet.
i am not sure what kind of arthritis i have, can anyone explain better than just plain arthritis? what are the different kinds?

Because of diabetes, my doctor wants me to stay away from anti-inflamatory medicine
My fingers hurt more between the joints than at the joints.

The pain I have is immediately above the knee as I walk down stairs and if I or someone else has their fingers over that area "cracking" or "crumbling" can be felt. The area also swells after use, and the pain can be severe. What can this be???

I have recently started having terrible pain in my fingers. It’s to the point that in the morning when I wake up I can’t even make a fist. I am only 25 years old, but arthritis runs in my family and my older sister is having the exact same problems as I am. I don’t know a lot about treatment for it, but I am also 31 weeks pregnant and I can’t really take medication to relieve the pain. I want desperately to get some relief from the pain, especially when the baby comes. This is the last thing I want to be worrying about. Does anyone have any ideas of at home remedies to bring me some relief???

When I awaken, my fingers, especially on one hand, are very stiff. Although they loosen somewhat during the day, I would like to find a way to relieve the pain and stiffness. By the way, I prefer not to use any medications at this time.

I crack almost everything (fingers, wrists, toes, back, neck, etc.). Is this harmful or just a bad habit?

im 16, and my doctor said i have psoriatic arthritis. i think hes wrong. the lower articulations in 2 fingers hurt, and every so often some months, it switches to 1 or 2 other fingers and it ends in those (that is from that arthritis). next, the doctor told me my nails were tipping or something like that, i forgot the name of that action, yet I dont think hes right my mom and i, and my friends and i checked the nails and we all have them exactly the same. next, i dont have anything of psoriasis. the little red things u get in your forehead/head, no symptoms at all of psoriasis. do u think my doctors wrong?

Im 16, female. I was recently diagnosed with arthritis in my hands/fingers. Until my medication arrives, is there any helpful tips I can use to ease the pain? Its really sharp and sometimes I can't even hold objects. Anything like heat, or massage tips I can do myself during school? Please nothing that involves medicine, since I have some one the way, thanks a million!
