at xmas i took really not well my back went then i felt pain in my finger joints and my knees i was totally freaked out went to the doctors he told me id be out of work for 3 months. Anyways i ended up being reffered to rhematology doctors who asked lots of past medical questions like do i get rashes in the sun i said well in the last few years i have been getting prickly heat and have become allergic to the sun and i also developed asthma over the past 2 years. He also told me that every year at winter i had attended the doctor who took blood test because i complain of the same thing in which i don’t remember prob cause the symptoms disappeared. He did blood test to test me for arthritis and xrays a mri on my back which showed 3 slipped disks and i am only 30, in the last 2 months i have developed psorisas on arms elbow and legs which i have never had in my life. The doc now says it could be psoratic arthiritis in which the tests have not showed but they said i should go back in a few months to get it checked. I am so worried and felling a bit low at the though of living my life like this can any1 give me any information. I am still in pain with my knees and back could it be somthing else.

2 years ago I had knee replacement surgery on both of my knees.
I am in alot of pain and my doctors call it nerve damage and arthritis.
Pills do not work. I would like to try something else and someone recomended cold lasser or a physcial therapist that comes to the house. "Both cost per session

My daughter has been complaining that her knees hurt for the past week. She fell and had a pretty bad scratch on her knee. This was about 3 weeks ago and it is completely healed but I thought when she said "knee hurt", it may have been past tense and a recollection upon seeing the scar.
I am thoroughly convinced now that her knees are really hurting. I will kiss the scarred knee and she’ll say other knee hurt. She’s complaining constantly, but it’s not the type of pain that requires going to an emergency room. We have an appointment to see her doctor on Tuesday.
This is my REAL fear. I have chosen NOT to vaccinate my daughter. On July 8th she scratched her cornea and we ended up in an emergency room. I was convinced she needed a tetanus vaccine by both the er doctors and her doctor. She had no immediate reaction to the vaccine. But when I Googled "Toddler complains of knee pain" one of the links connected the Tetanus vaccine to Juvenile Rheumatoid Arthritis. I am freaking out. I have also read the Web MD page explaining how to differentiate between JRA and growing pains.. and have ruled out growing pains.
WTF? Any ideas?

My 8yr old daughter developed a strange rash. They appeared as circular rashes that were open inside and all interconnected like a behive. She also had striped rashes that were raised and red as if someone had scratched her. She has been having extreme severe joint pain. To the point at times she cannot move. The doctors said it is Erythema multiforme or a virus. This has been going on for over a week. Is there some other diagnosis for this. Could this be possible juvenile rheumatoid arthritis? She worsens at night and has also been having a low grade fever. The rash also comes and goes.

hi. i’m 15 year old female. for the past about 6 months i have had a lot of joint pain. at first it was in my knees and they were very swollen. i got one drained and it never came back. after that my wrists and feet started to bother me. after my fingers began to swell up. my joints all swell up. the swelling will lat for a few days and then go away. i have been put on naproxen but it hasn’t helped. what do you think this is? i’ve gone to many doctors and gotten blood tests and it seems to be fine. i think it may be a possibility that i have juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, but rhe rheumatologist doesnt seem to be sure and apparently it takes a while to diagnose. what do you think? also, if it is rheumatoid arthritis will i still be able to play volleyball and basketball?

On the information leaflet it says you should delay/not get it if you have a low immune system,or a disease which affects the immune system. And if you have gotten it twice before,it’s still advised to get it again.
But I’m in a predicament…..I have Juvenile Arthritis,a type of Rheumatoid, and this causes me to have a very low immune system, and the meds I’m on affects my immune system also. Because of this,I pick up things realli easily. I’ve had the vaccine twice already, but I was talking to someone who’s nephew got the vaccine twice and he still got a severe case of the mumps.
Any doctors/nurses/medical people out there?? Or anyone who could help?? What do ye think I should do?? Should I get the vaccine, regardless of my comprimised immune system??
I don’t want to get the mumps…..I get realli sick with a cold or the ‘flu,I’ve had the ‘flu for the past 3 weeks,on my second course of antibiotics and it has now developed into a chest infection…..
Thanks in advance
Yeah…..I did get it twice as I mentioned in my question,if you actually read it…..and people ask lots of random questions in the Ireland section, what does this have to do with travel in Ireland:

Yeah. Not much.
And I was just looking for help, thank you very much. Obviously you think I’m THICK enough to say ‘Oh,I’m gonna do exactly what such and such a person said’ I just wanted opinions…..

For over a year I frequently develop a fever (a few hours a day) , start feeling nauseous, get mild headaches, muscle aches, joint aches, and temporary dizziness ,LOSS OF SIGHT, and severe headache for a few seconds often when I stand up after lying down for more than half an hour.
I’m uses to being miss and under diagnosed. It took 5 years to be diagnosed with a bad case of equines (the worst the doctor had seen in 14 years. Yet three other doctors said it was in my head.
I know there’s something wrong because you dont just temporarily go blind after standing, even if it is only for a few seconds.
I’m 14 and live in australia if it helps.
been to my doctor heaps but he just dismisses it, despite being diagnosed with about three other conditions he dissmised. (equines, juvenile arthritis and patella femoral.
any ideas what could be causing it.
its definately not the heat, yet because it’s been winter so its only 19 or 20c but the heat makes it a LOT worse

Ok,here in Ireland the HSE are giving out free MMR vaccines to TY,5th and 6th yrs and third level students.
