What is a catchy name for my son’s Arthritis walking team?
He is 12 yo and was diagnosed almost a year ago with juvenile idiopathic arthritis. We want to form a team to walk for the Arthritis foundation but we cannot come up with a good name. His name is Christian if this helps.

Help Hank Aaron in the Fight Against Arthritis?

After 23 years of playing baseball, I believe you guys never think Hank Aaron was never on the disabled list even when knee osteoarthritis sidelined him.

I heard my friends said that for every fan that joins Facebook, Genzyme will make a contribution to the Arthritis Foundation but it seems I cannot find the link to his page. Do you know the link?

Thank you so much.

I am about to spend a few months abroad and would like to run or walk in huge charitable events while I am away. My two favorite events to jog in in the US are "Race for the Cure" (breast cancer research) and "Jingle Bell Run" (Arthritis Foundation). I like these types of charitable events where thousands of people participate to support a good cause and I am hoping to find similar events throughout Europe.

Would you go to this charity event?

I am planning to do a charity event for the arthritis foundation (I have had arthritis since I was 9 and now I am 13 so that’s why I want to do this). I am thinking of doing it at a bowling alley. Like I would rent it out for a couple of hours and you pay a cretin amount to bowl during that time. Then within that I want to do a couple of raffles, sell pizza, and drinks. Would you go to this charity event?

P.S. I posted this somewhere else but I wanted more opinions.

Does this sound like a good shirt design?

I am doing a fundraiser for the arthritis foundation and I want to know if this is a good shirt for me to make to wear at the event.

I may have arthritis but arthritis doesn’t have me

Volunteering Opinions?

I am looking around for more volunteer opportunities. I have been volunteering at the animal shelter for the past 9 months, but that’s only 2-4 hours a week. I narrowed down a list of places that I could volunteer at in town that I might be interested in. If any of you have experience with any of them, or if you know anyone who does it, I would appreciate it if you let me know how you/ they like it, or what they do:

- AFS Intercultural Program
- American Cancer Society
- American Heart Association
- Arthritis Foundation
- Bloodmobile
- Meals on Wheels
- Habitat For Humanity
- Food Bank
- Adopt a Trail

I’ve been to all the individual websites and know as they much as they explained. I’m just looking for other opinions. Thanks.

By the way, I’m Male, 23 and have essentially all the free time in the world, while I’m looking for a job.

I think I figured this problem out but I wanted to see what other people might come up with for an answer, I do not know the answer the book does not have it in the answer key which makes it more challenging. here it is.

In 1998, the number of people (in millions) reporting arthritis was 43. The number of people (in millions) predicted to be reporting arthritis in 2020 is 60. Let y be the number of people (in millions) reporting arthritis in year x, where x= 0 represents 1998. (source: Arthritis foundation)

a. Write a linear equation that models the number of people (in millions) reporting arthritus in terms of the year x.

b. Use this equation to predict the number of people reporting arthritis in 2010. ( Round to the nearest million.)

Have fun! I'm interested to see what answers appear.

question about ideology….?

What ideologies are revealed when you take a critical approach to study the Arthritis foundation? What example of hememony can you see?? Please help
