I have arthritis in both knees, ankles, wrists & elbows. After a year of pain, I finally decided to try cortisone injections in my knees. I am wondering how long they will last.

I DO! God has gotten me through some of the toughest times of my life. I am currently 14 years old. When i was 11 i was diagnosed with juvenile arthritis. I had to give up my favorite sports for over a year (hockey and soccer). I couldnt even go on a walk or play pick up baseball with my firends. I prayed and prayed and in less than 2 years, i was able to return to an (almost) arthritis free life. I had to re learn how to run because my muscle memory in my ankles and toes were damaged.
God also helped me get through 6th grade. In sixth grade mty aunt died. She left behind her husband, a daughter (7th grade at the time) and a son (in 3rd Grade at the time). She was 40.
Our whole family was mmiserable but with the help of God, we got through it.
I have a strong belief in God and the paranormal. I am GIFTED with the ability to see those passed on, such as my aunt and to have premonitions.
I am wondering who else believes in God (or allah) and why atheists dont. Answers?
Im not Like The Kid From The Sixth Sense. "I See Dead People" But not Constantly.
Hey, Phil f!
Ever hear of a wake up call? People have free will but some things are meant to happen. God always pulls good out of something bad. If your skiing accident was so bad YOU SHOULD HAVE DIED.
GOD LET YOU LIVE. Many people who have life threatening experiences finally wake up and realize that there is more to life then just themselves.
And of course i give my doctors credit! they did a great job. But guess what else? I wound up going to a Non Profit Catholic Childrens Hospital. It accepted anyone not just catholics.
And Catholocism is waking up to the realization of Spirits and Demons. Ever hear of Purgatory? Thats where spirits go when awaiting the final judgement. I BELIEVE THE THEORY THAT GHOSTS ARE SOULS IN PURGATORY.
Ever hear of an exorcism? Try seeing one. Demons and Angels And Spirits Are Real. There is your proof. Oh, and since your an atheist you prolly dont know this, but the guy in the black clothes doing the exorcism, always a Catholic PRIEST! fact
Christian friends, im really upset know. I think i have made a mistake. i have posted several questions trying to convert atheists. i am not letting them shake my faith, but i feel deeply sadened that they are condemning themselves. I became so caught up in trying to get them to wake up, i tried to scare them into realizing they will go to hell. i asked what they think is going to happen when they die and in the details, i made a mistake of attemoting to make a joke and said "i already know you are going to hell, but wut do u think?" i said this to get a few laughs out of them and to scare them a little. what do u think?

I am a avid gymnast. I have juvenile arthritis. I found out you are supposed to wrap your writs/ankles with medical tape. How should i wrap them? Don’t tell me to ask my coach because i’m on medical leave and will go back next week and i want to know how now. Please answer. What other things should i do to stop the strain on my joints?

My throat is swollen all the way around and bright red. if I rest for a while the pain is low and i just feel like somthing is caugth in my throat. After moving my head around or talking for a while or swollowing food or drink the swelling gets worse and the pain becomes worse. I have taken several different antibiotics for this and it had been flaring up every few weeks for several months. I have no fever, but I am short of breath, my mind is cloudy and i have pitting edema in my ankles and i am tierd. I have already had mono. I also have psoriatic arthritis and aparently asthma. I have been to two different docotrs about this and both gave me antibiotis after looking at the reddness. I feel like the readness is only a result of the hard time I have swollowing. My voice has changes as a result.

im 14 and ive done many sports in my life, like dance, gymnastics, baseball, basketball, volleyball, soccer and lacrosse and during the last year i have been have lots of joint pain, mostly in my ankles and in my wrists, but lately its been in my finger joints. it is very painful, it hurts the most after playing a soccer game but it hurts almost every night, sometimes to the point where i am in tears and am unable to bear it. do you think this sounds like juvenile arthritis? if not what might it be? also do you think the fact that i used to have scoliosis might be a reason for my joint pain?

When i was 11 years old i was diagnosed with juvenile rheumatoid arthritis, which at the time effected only my left knee (which swelled up badly and sometimes got locked) and right wrist. At about the age of 17-18 it began to get a lot better and when i was pregnant at 19 the symptoms practically went away. But about 5 months after having my baby it came back, and now my baby is 9 months old and im 20 yrs (pregnant again) and it’s all changed – yes my left knee is swollen but i have been getting (bad) pain in different joints (a different joint or two each day). Today it is my right knee which is not swollen but is very painful (more at night though) and my right knuckles. Sometimes its my ankles. With different joints being affected does that mean my arthritis has changed, as in is it still rheumatoid arthritis? Im 14 weeks pregnant but the symptoms are not getting any better thats for sure.
Just in case i didnt make my question clear, im asking if the type of arthritis i have can change into a different form of arthritis?

I have been experiencing severe joint pain in my knees, wrists, fingers, toes, and ankles. I have been to the rheumatologist numerous times, had blood drawn 3 times. The doctor doesn’t seem to think that it is rheumatoid arthritis or osteoarthritis. He thinks it may be psoriatic arthritis, which I don’t have psoriasis, just the genetic disposition for it. A couple people have suggested that I have my thyroid checked because joint pain can be caused by an underactive thyroid.
I am 22 years old, female, feel tired constantly, irregular menstrual periods, severe menstrual cramps, dry skin, brittle hair and nails, all of which I’ve seemed to find to be hypothyroid symptoms.
I guess what I really want to know is if anyone with hypothyroidism has experienced severe joint pain due to the hypothyroidism? Thanks!
