osteoarthritis. i did a project on this
im not sure what you want but i’ll tell you what it is basically.
Osteoarthritis is a arthritis [no duh] its the most common kind of arthritis. Most people get it over 45 but you can get it at anytime. Osteoarthritis can affect men and women but men get it the most. Side affects of this are being over weight, passed on through your family, trouble moving or bending a joint and/or doing everyday tasks.
thats what i remember the most. Hope i could help!
Osteoarthritis is what they term ‘wear and tear’ on the joints! Or the normal aging process. Every joint contains a cartilage, a nice smooth piece of gristle that enables, allows both parts of the joint to move. If we did not have this cartilage, we would be grating bone on bone. Obviously as we age with the constant usage of joints the cartilage gets worn just like the car tire. If you have a puncture in the tire you have it repaired, but we cannot repair the joint cartilage. Therefore the cartilage gets thinner and thinner allowing the bones to get closer and closer until eventually we have no cartilage, just bone grating against bone. Knee or hip replacements can help, but outside of that little anyone can do. Best of Luck
Here are a few links that will tell you everything you want to know about arthritis. It is good, free information from medical professionals
