could i have arthritis in my knees?
i had been running on a track to get into shape every day, and my knees got sore after a week so i stopped. now they are not getting better, but worse; i can hardly walk across my house…my dad had a knee replacement due to arthritis, and i was wondering if a joint injury can set off this condition in people that may be prone to it. i am only 39 and never had anything like this before.
i know it sounds nuts but i am in a lot of pain and cant afford a doctor. any suggestions?

Temporarily, hot soaks or whirlpool + massage with pain-relieving cream can ease things. Keep a towel behind the knees. Ask a pharmacist for proper anti-inflammatory or pain killers. If not better in 10 days, see your doc.
Turn over your most-used shoes & look for uneven wear on the soles. It’s likely you’ll find it at the heels, either at the back inside or on the outside. If so, proper podiatric inserts by a foot doc (Podiatrist) can help solve your problem. You should also consider speaking with the shoe-fitter in a GOOD Sports Shoe store, but that’s not going to ‘cure’ you.
Yes, arthritis can run in families & repeated injuries can lead to developing arthritis. Pay attention now or you’ll pay much more later.
