About knee arthritis.?
I suffered a minor ACL tear of my right knee about 16 years ago. Didnt require surgery, just some PT that i slacked on. Now, anytime I do anything strenuous, such as last week’s job that involved moving heavy furniture, I find my knee swollen, and almost unable to bend it. Stairs and ramps are a killer too. I can function, and indeed do still walk and work around, but I’d like to hear some good homegrown remedies for it. I have been taking ibuprofen regularly to combat the swelling, and have been using Capazin ointment, but to no real avail. I have to be on my feet 8 hours a day at least to work, on concrete floors and ladders. Just bought some new shoes, but nothing expensive, and i am using insoles. I need some relief! Help! Thanks!

Have you actually been diagnosed with Arthritis or are you just guessing?
It could be that you have a tear or broken cartilage in that knee so you really need to see an Orthopedic Specialist for an appointment and Xray’s or MRI’s to make sure you don’t need surgery. Since you do use the knee in strenuous situations you really need that knee checked. I would be concerned with the swelling going on because that means inflammation.
