What could these symtoms mean if they are not arthritis? 10 points?
i have JA ( juvenile arthritis ) and i recently made friends with someone and they have the same symptoms as me apart from her joints do not swell up and become warm etc. she has had tests and they came back normal, she has had xrays and physical examinations and is going for an appointment on wednesday but she has no idea what it could be.. do any of you have ideas on what it could be? arthritis is not an answer unless it could be osteoarthritis?? but it is in every joint from her toes right up to her neck… were both really confused??

There are so many different types of arthritis and some types do not cause the destuctions of the joint, swelling or warmth and redness to the same extent but can be painful, cause inflamation and some swelling. Different types can affect any part of the body and cause of host of different symtoms and similiar symtoms and are often very hard to get an accurate diagnosis. Diagnosis is often made over a period of time and a process of elimination along with a series of blood tests, x-rays and physical findings. It could by lupus and or one of it’s forms, fibromialgia etc…sojens, scleroderma and or one of it’s forms etc.
Good Luck
i would say ibromialgia. it causes pain all over the body but there is no specific test for it. symptoms are IC(intercystitis-bladder swelling and pain), irretiable bowl syndrom( cant go to bathroom much), tender spots all over the body kinda like pressure points. i have fibromialgia, and they thought i had rumetoid arthritis, because i hurt all the time but they could never find out why.have her talk to her doctor about fibromialgia.
