juvenile chronic arthritis?
I have had juvenile chronic arthritis ( jca ) since I was 5 years old. I am now 13 years old and have been on all sorts of medication including steriods by mouth, and by injctiob. but I’m still really short for my age but I can now walk. I used to be in a wheelchair and was disabled. I also blew up and all around my body I know have stretch marks which I have had since I was 10. But I want to start up dancing now that im copable with moving around. what kind of dancing could I take up

Maybe ballet? It’s relatively low stress on your joints and they will train you slowly to build up your strength to accompany the new moves you learn. If you get on well with that and it doesn’t cause pain etc then you could consider a higher impact type of dance like tap or jazz.
Country dancing could be appropriate, it’s a lot of fun but they don’t tend to provide so much one to one tuition at those types of classes so you’ll have to listen to your own body and stop when you’ve had enough.
