i cant believe the stuff is sooo crazy, i hope someone can share pain relief secrets or something…someone who actually has it…thanks
nice to hear from everyone, im 27 years old and RA hit me real hard 7 months ago, about two weeks after the birth of my 3rd child, i first thought that i had slept on my shoulder wrong because it was a little sore, but within 3 days i couldnt move my arms at all, then like clock work, my arms, wrists, hands, knees, and feet all started to shut down on both sides of my body, and the pain was just unbearable, i was in and out of the doctors, thought i was suffering from post partum depression, and tried to put me on prozac lol, i refused to take it cus i had a feeling it was ra, because i watched my grama suffer for many years…….so within a month i was diagnosed, i was first given prednisone and it immediately cleared up everything except my wrists and hands, i have been taking prednisone and methotrexate, and i started on humira about a month ago, its only 1 shot every two weeks and i can already feel a world of difference!

I’m a 55 year old female and have had a little arthritis since in my 20’s. It started in my fingers and seemed to be somewhere different every year. Now is the worse it’s ever been. About six months ago it started getting bad in my hips then my shoulders. Now it’s in my left shoulder only and is exxxxxxxtreemely painful. I went to the Dr. and he gave me pain pills and they didn’t help. Now I’m on an anti-inflammitory and it doesn’t seem to help either. Can anyone tell me how I can get a little relief until I go see the RA in Oct.?

I have the most horrible pain in my hands today and for the last couple of days. It has been rainy here. It started with my left pointer finger nuckle, very stiff, then all the fingers. Now my right hand is so painful I can barely type, cannot make a fist and it’s a horrible pain to pick up my three month old and carry him. My right wrist appears slightly swollen but not red. Should I use a heating pad? Ice pack? I don’t want to make it worse. I tried 800mg Ibuprophen and Darvocet, made me sick to my stomach but no pain relief.
I’m 33 and this has been going on for about 6 years. It also happens in my shoulders, really bad!!, my knees, my hips and my back.

Arthritis/Fibromyalgia pain?..I don’t mean the weak "medical marijuana" stuff..I mean the street stuff (which is probably cheaper lol)…the Gov has to have their piece:S…I really would like to hear experiences with this..Does it help?..drug interactions ..anything..I have a loved one who suffers much pain with not a lot of relief from prescriptions…thanks:)….

I’m talking about the device that uses light therapy to improve circulation and relieve joint pain, arthritis, etc.
Does it work for headaches, too?

I just moved down south from New York. I have had scripts for pain killers, I have a lot of arthritis problems, so I am not a drug user. I find down south, at least where I live, it is harder to get pain killers, and I really do need them. Please any advise would be helpful. Again, just looking for relief for pain, if there are any web sites out there I would much appreciate it. Thank you

For a year now, I have had extreme foot pain, and feel tingling when I rub the tops. Prolonged standing/walking is painful, even after as little as 30 minutes. My foot X-rays do not show much arthritis or osteoporsis. I just had a blood test and am borderline low in B 12 and wondered if there was some connection there. I am a female, age 55, and very active until this condition started. The only other symtom I have noted in the past year is more frequent diarrhea. I don’t fit into any of the normal paramaters of foot pain sources, and so far, my podiatrist has not been able to provide much relief. Part of the problem is that I am unable to take the best NSAIDS, in 3 days I have severe stomach cramps and diarrhea. I do wear custom fitted orthotics, and they help, but I still can barely walk sometimes. Other times there is no pain at all, and there does not seem to be any pattern, except they are way worse when I am on my feet a lot.

Hi community member’s,
Who has a home remedy for arthritis? A mixed concoction, balm or any other ingredients. I use blue goo ( emu oil with aloe, msm) fast/acting pain relief gel but I always manage to rub into my eyes (smarts up). I’ll return what I think is a best answer. Have a good night. :0)
