It started in July of ‘06 and got to the point of not being able to stand upright, with shooting pains down my left side down to my knees..Doc said after mri’s and x-rays that I have Degenerative Disk Disease, arthritis, and multiple bulging disks. I went through facet joint blocks, discogram, myelogram, 2 months of physical therapy, and ended up getting a spinal fluid leak from the procedures, which I ended up getting a blood patch(blood drawn out of my arm and injected into my spinal cord) to stop the migraines. I since stopped being a guinnea pig and went to a chiropractor who said I don’t have any of those things, just out of alignment. But after getting adjusted for 4 months now, I still have no relief, not a day goes by that I don’t have this nasty pain! I ended up quitting a job after almost 5 years because it caused too much pain on my back. My question is, where do I go next?!! It’s rather depressing and driving me absolutely insane!! I want to play with my kids!!!

Maybe it’s not the most romantic gift idea but while my hubby waits to see the rheumatologist, are there any appliances that I can buy that will give him some relief from the pain in his hands and feet? I was wondering about those parafin wax things – I’ve heard that a dip in the hot wax can relieve some arthritis pain, but does it really? What about a therapeutic foot bath? Will the hot water and vibration help him at all? Am I even barking up the right tree? Thanks.
His GP diagnosed the RA. He’s made an appointment to see the rheumatologist but hasn’t seen one yet. I think his appointment is in two weeks or so. I just want to know if there are any therapeutic devices that I can buy that might relieve some of his pain in the meantime.

This "cocktail" has helped her often, therefore, my question is: can I take 1 (one) "Aleve ARTHRITIS" 220mg with my Vicodin, 500mg, tablet?

OK, Im going to give a little history first, so here it goes.
Im a 32 yr old mom. I already have a diagnosis of Ostioarthritis, and degen. disk disease. I had surgery on my left shoulder because of sudden onset of severe pain and immobility, doc. removed a lot of inflammation and a bone spur along with some of the arthritis he found in there. Didnt help. in the mean time the same sudden pain happened in my right shoulder, still living with that. Among a couple of other problems. Now, today I was standing doing the dishes and my hip began to throb inside the joint, severe pain but it feels just a little different then my shoulders and back especailly considering i have pin and needle feeling running up and down my leg. I cant get comfortable, I can sit, stand or even lay down to get any relief. I have already taken pain medication and it isnt helping…anyone with any ideas PLEASE.
