Are these good questions for an interview?
I'm interviewing my cousin and her mother (and possibly father/sister) about her rheumatoid arthritis. Her mother also has the same arthritis. My main person to interview is my cousin though because she is only about 11 years old and has already been through so much. She was the honoree for an arthritis walk, so it just makes more sense. I wrote down some questions for my interview, but I want to make sure I'm not missing any questions here. Thank you for any of your help, I really do appreciate it.
*What type of arthritis do you have?
*At what age were you diagnosed with this type of arthritis?
*How old are you now?
*What affect does this arthritis have on you?
*Does it ever stop you from doing activities?
*How has the family dealt with it?
*How does arthritis affect your family financially?
*Can you tell me a little bit about the arthritis walk you did?
*What is the foundation called that held the walk?
*How does it feel to have been selected as the honoree?
*How do you plan on raising awareness about arthritis in the future?
*How many times have you had to go to the hospital because of your arthritis?
*Which was the most recent?
*Do you take any medications for your arthritis?
*How has arthritis affected you emotionally?
*Can you tell me about when you found out you might end up in a wheelchair?

Will I get into the University of Delaware?
My GPA is a 4.2 on a scale of a 5.0, a 3.5 on a scale of a 4.0. I got a 1760 on my first SAT, and am currently awaiting my second. The challenging classes I took were English Honors my freshman year, English and History Honors my sophomore and junior year, and my senior year English Honors and AP Environmental. I have 75 hours of community service and counting at the Food Bank, Special Olympics, Safety Town, and Arthritis Foundation total. I have been the secretary of journalism club(junior-senior), a peer leader (senior), a Spanish Honor Society member(junior-senior), NHS nominee (awaiting to here on acceptance to that program-senior), Jerseyan History Club Member (sophomore-junior), Field Hockey player (freshman year), Spanish Club member (freshman year- no longer exists), BP Nordstrom Fashion Board Brand Ambassador (junior-senior), and I was a paid tutor for a couple of weeks my junior year. I took a class at FIT, and earned three college credits at LIM College from taking three college level classes, since I want to major in Fashion Merchandising. I am currently 27 out of 298 students, so top 10% of my class. I want nothing more than to attend UD next fall and I want to see if it would seem like I would get in. Please be as honest as possible.

Is there funding for children with autism?
I live in Michigan and have a nephew with moderate autism. He's in need of therapy and a few other forms of treatment that I'm unfamiliar with. My brother makes in the 90k-100k range, but he's the sole provider for the household. Also, my sister in-law has various health conditions including MS, lupus (not sure I spelled that right), mixed connective tissue disorder, and arthritis just to name a few. Needless to say, much of their income goes to their medical treatment and medications for my sister in-law. Their insurance doesn't cover much of either of their needs. I know they make a lot, but you'd be surprised how quickly that gets depleted. Does anyone know of any foundations, state funding, or organizations that could help?? Most of the state funding is income based and don't take into consideration that a lot of their money goes to her treatment as well. Any SERIOUS advice would be greatly appreciated!! Thanks!!!!
Anyone able to help this mare?
Not sure if you could help me out a bit, this mare has been offered for free - I was intending on taking her in but due to financial reasons I couldn't - The current owners are still looking to find her a home they too are financially in a hard spot - They have called the MSPCA looking for answers the best thing they said was to put her down and nothing else to be said there - Shes a wonderful little mare probably 15.1 ish nice wide/stocky they say shes about 20 or so but her teeth to me look between 15-18 shes got a nice foundation in western pleasure training the only downfall to her is she has a little bit of arthritis in one front leg and a little marey attitude - She rides really good and for having the winter off did not give me a hard time one bit I even was able to slide off her rump to dismount and she also let me stand up on her. - Her craigslist ad is here: http://westernmass.craigslist.org/grd/2356322240.html - I say the best for this mare I wish she could find a good home - Katelyn
Info: I have called around many shelters and rescues not to mention just the one therapeutic riding program in the area whom I know the director, is full. I myself have one horse as is and she was going to be an addition to help me start up my own therapeutic riding program in the westfield MA area, but in the loss of not just one of my three jobs but all of them within a week I could not take her,
she is truly free, she needs a good vet check but otherwise even with the little bit of arthritis she is sound enough to ride, and very quiet at that! I would have been able to offer a home to this girl had I not lost my jobs - the barn I am currently at offered me to move to rough board at a highly discounted price to be able to take her - I can hardly afford my one mare now and its rough - I picked my current horse up for free with one training issue and she has been the best thing in the world since then! If I could take her it wouldnt have come down to this....

Rigor of secondary school: For my first two years of high school I went to a rigorous college prep school which ranks 9th on the newsweek magazine list. For my last two years, I am in a program where we complete our high school requirements by taking college classes, so I am aslo finishing my first two years of college (so I can either apply as a transfer student or a freshman). Also at the end of this program we recieve Associate degrees if we complete the required amount of hours.
Extraciriculars:
I play acoustic guitar
I am involved with a science club outside of school
I have attended a few science camps
I was in the computer club in 10th grade
I was in the cooking club in 9th grade
I am a mentor for in coming juniors at my current high school
Volunteering:
START
The Arthritis Foundation
(I am trying to get more)
SAT:
The highest score I have been able to get it 1750, but I am studying and I have 2 more tries.
Could I get into college? How can I improve? Could I get into any of the colleges listed above?
Arthritis walk team names..?
I need some ideas for a team name for a walk/run for the Arthritis Foundation.
My mother has had rheumatoid arthritis for years and I want to make it a special name that's either clever or classy.
Thank you so much!
